FBI arrests FEMA Officials for Hurricane-Maria FRAUD in Puerto Rico

Federal authorities executed several arrest warrants this morning in relation to an alleged scheme of fraud on recovery funds after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

The arrests, some of them in the United States, were in charge of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in the Department of Homeland Security, with the support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The head of the federal prosecutor’s office on the island, Rosa Emilia Rodríguez, reported at a press conference that it was Asha Tribble, former administrator of FEMA region 2 in New York;  Donald Keith Ellison, former president of Cobra Energy, and Jovanda Patterson (former FEMA chief for San Juan).
